Summary PHC sought explanation from DSP and SHO Hayat Abad police station over detaining a minor.
Two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Dost Muhammad and Justice Waqar Seith conducted hearing of detaining case of a 5-year-old child.While passing his remarks, Chief Justice Dost Muhammad said that police officials know that police have established a private police station in Hayat Abad, adding that “We are conscious that about Rs 3 million are being earned by security forces by unfair meas.”After hearing arguments from both sides, the court issued notices to the DSP and the SHO of the related police station over illegal detention of the boy.
