Summary The Lahore High Court has suspended the notification of petroleum levy on LPG.
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of Lahor e hight court initiated the hearing of the case.LPG marketing companies took the stance in the petition that the government had imposed petroleum levy on LPG on February 15 after which price of LPG increased by Rs 11 per kilogram.The petitioners pleaded the court to suspend the notification and grant a stay order till the decision of the case.After hearing argument, the court suspended notification and ordered the federal government and OGRA to submit reply in this regard.
