Summary Pakistan Bar Council cancelled notification of office for SC Bars Finance Secretary Rana Fiaz.
Rana Fiaz’s rival candidate Shaikh Mahmood had move an application in the Pakistan Bar Council that the counting of votes for the seat of Finance Secretary should be made once again. At this, the notification of office of Rana Fiaz was suspended.While addressing press conference, Rana Fiaz complained that SC Bar’s former president Ali Ahmad Kurd has formed a self created Trust by the funds worth Rs 30 million while the ex-president of SC Bar Asma Jahangir is also using these funds for her vested interests.Rana Fiaz said that he has been removed from his office over raising voice against monetary corruption.
