Summary The increase in POL prices has been challenged in the Lahore High Court.
Petitioner’s counsel Azhar Saddique stated in the petition that the fresh hike in petroleum prices will add the miseries of the poor. He said that the government had made no policy for increasing the POL prices.He requested the court to issue a stay order against the hike in prices.
