Summary Mending work of bomb-hit gas pipeline could not be started due to unavailability of security.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company’s sources, some unknown miscreants had exploded gas pipeline measuring 18 inch diameter, causing suspension of gas to major cities of Sindh including Karachi.The company spokesman said repairing work could not be started as there were no clues of security from local administration.He said that as soon as company receives permission, the repairing work would be started on priority basis.
