Summary The CDA got resounding response from the public on the first day of the CDA grand auction.
On the first day of the grand auction, CDA offered seven residential plots for bidding. The two-day auction announced by the CDA is meant for residential as well as commercial plots and would continue from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday January 10, 2012 as well.On the first day, the CDA offered four plots for bidding in the Sector G-10/2 and three plots in Sector F-11/2 for auction out of these plot No.151, and Plot No. 153, Sector F-11/2 each measuring 400 Square Yard received the highest bid of Rs.44,000 per square yard. Whereas plot No.130, Sector G-10/2 measuring 233.33 square tard got the lowest bid @ Rs 35,500/- per square yard.As per details, Plot No.151, measuring 400 square yard in Sector F-11/2 was auctioned at the @ Rs.44, 000 per square yard. Similarly, Plot No.153, measuring 400 square yard, Sector F-11/2 received a bid of Rs.44, 000/- per square yard. Plot No.152, measuring 400 square yard, Sector F-11/2 received a bid of Rs.43, 500/- per square yard. Plot No.130-C, Sector G-10/2, measuring 233.33 square yard received a bid of Rs.39,000/-, while Plot No.130-B, measuring 233.33 square yard, Sector G-10/2 received a bid of Rs.38,500/- per square yard. Plot No.130-A measuring 233.33 square yard, Sector G-10/2 received a bid of Rs.36,000/- per square yard and Plot No.130, measuring 233.33 square yard received a bid of Rs.35,500/- per square yard.This auction is being supervised by a committee headed by Mr. Javed Jehangir Member Finance, while Tahir Shamshad, Planning & Design, Khalid Mahmud Mirza, Member Estate, Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah, Member Engineering, Director Public Relations, Director Estate Management-I, Director Estate Management-II, Director One Window Operation, and Deputy Financial Advisor are the members of the committee. A large number of people participated in the auction on the first day.The auction of commercial plots would be conducted tomorrow i.e. January 11, 2012 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.The auction committee would submit its recommendations to the CDA Board, which is the final Authority for approval of these auctions.
