Summary Local residents protested while demanding bridge at Shadbagh Amir Road area on Lahore Ring Road.
The local residents of Shadbagh Amir Road area said that women and children have been facing problem while crossing the RR therefore, a bridge should be constructed at this point. The protestors organized a protest rally and blocked the Ring Road.The situation turned critical, when a car rider asked for way and pulled out pistol after refusal from the protestors. The protestors beat the car rider and let him go later. Police dispersed the protestors.
