Summary Fog engulfs plain areas of Punjab including Lahore.
Dense fog has engulfed Punjab province for the past few days that has badly affected flights and road traffic.International flights suppose to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport were delayed as on Saturday, a plane carrying Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif could not land on time due foggy condition.On the other hand, road traffic on motorway has also been disrupted due to thick fog.Metrological department has predicted that foggy and misty conditions are likely to remain over some plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sukkur division in the next 48 hours.
