Summary Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq has excused from hearing Sapna-Khosa case due to personal reasons.
Missal Khan, father of Sapna Khan, filed a petition in the Lahore High Court, stating that Dost Muhammad Khosa was pressurizing and threatening his family to withdraw the case against him regarding kidnapping of Sapna.Missal Khan prayed to the court to summon Khosa and record his statement with oath regarding Sapna’s kidnapping so that the case may proceed further.Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq of the Lahore High Court declined to hear the case due to personal reasons and returned the file to the Chief Justice Lahore High Court.
