A large number of citizens made rumpus and attacked passport office at Abbot Road in Lahore. The angry mob entered into the building and damaged office furniture while the office staff fled from the scene.According to the protesters, the government announced the increase in passport fee from January 1 but the passport authorities demanded an additional payment also from the applicant who deposited their dues last year.The protesters shouted slogans against the government and demanded to take action against passport authorities on charging extra fees.
