Summary Ceremony of passing out parade of 48th batch of cadets was held in Pakistan Marine Academy Karachi.
Awards were also distributed among cadets showing best performance.The opening ceremony was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Four divisions comprising eight platoons participated in the ceremony including Jinnah Division, Iqbal Division, Qasim Division and Liagat Division.While addressing the ceremony, PMA Commandant Chief Engineer Tahir Jameel and guest of honour Vice Admiral Saleem Ahmad Minai said that merchant navy is one of the important pillars of national economy, adding thatthe role of Pakistani Marine Academy is very important from this point of view.The cadets having training of marine and aeronautical engineering for two years have been awarded the degree of Marry Time Studies in BSc from the Karachi University while the cadets showing best performance were also endow with gold medals and proficiency banners.The cadets were of the view that the time they passed in the academy was mostly memorable.
