Summary Two children died of gas leakage in Sadar area of Peshawar on Wednesday.
As per details, a family from Kohat had shifted in Nothia area in the limits of Gulberg Police Station in Peshawar. The family members forgot to turn the gas heater off at night during the loadshedding due to which gas filled in the room when gas supply restarted.In the morning, a woman lit a match in the darkness and the room caught fire due to gas explosion and two children, aged 9 and 11 died on the spot while other family members including 4 women injured due to fire.The residents of the area rescued the injured persons and shifted them to Lady Reading Hospital.
