Sapna case: police ordered to record petitioners statement

The local court in Lahore has ordered the Racecourse police station SHO to take action on the application moved by the petitioner against former provincial minister Dost Muhammad Khosa.When the Additional Session Judge Lahore started hearing of the case, the counsel for Sapna’s father Misal Khan told the court that police were not ready to register abduction case against Dost Muhammad and his aides.On the other hand, the defence counsel said that Sapna’s father had not visited the police station to record his statement. The court was also briefed that Misal Khan is not the real father of Sapna.The court ordered the SHO to take action according to law after recording statement of the victim’s father. Hearing of case was postponed for December 14.
