Karachi: Rs100m issued for journalists housing scheme

Director General of Liyari Development Authority Agha Maqsood Abbas said this while talking to the journalists at the site of journalist housing scheme. He said that the plot would be given to 467 new journalists according to the prescribed formula, under which senior members of Karachi Press Club were accommodated in the housing scheme.He said the journalists housing scheme, which is situated in Hawks Bay Scheme Block No 3, would not have less importance than Clifton or Defence.He assured the journalists that challan of payment for plots to 467 new members of Karachi Press Club would be issued within the current month.
