Summary The couple who refused to take twin daughters at a Peshawar hospital has eventually apologised.
The couple had complained that Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar swapped their newborn boys with girls.The family said that the paramedical staff told them that it were baby boys, but half an hour later they were told that the twins were girls.This upset the family which started raising hue and cry. They questioned why they were earlier told that the twins were boys. The hospital administration set up a committee of doctors which declared that baby girls were born to the couple and that it was a misunderstanding on the part of the couple.Later, the father of the twins admitted that it was a misunderstanding on his part.
