Summary SHC has issued notice to Sindh Home Secretary over confinement of MQM-H chief Afaq Ahmad.
In this regard, a petition was filed against the confinement of MQM-H chief Afaq Ahmad after his release from jail on the ATC order.When Sindh High Court divisional bench comprising Chief Justice Mushir Alan and Justice Ahmad Ali started hearing of the case, the petitioner said that the court had absolved Afaq Ahmad from all the case registered against him, but the Sindh government has confined him owing to political pressure under the MPO which is diametrically violation of fundamental human rights.Hearing preliminary arguments, the court has issued notices to the Sindh Home Secretary, seeking explanation on the issue on December 7.
