Summary Affectees of operation Rah-e-Nijat in SW held a protest against unavailability of relief items.
As per details, affectees of war-torn areas raised voice against difficulties over delivery of relief items. Protestors said that they had to stand in miles-long queues for food and other relief items but in vain and ultimately they had to go back empty handed.No to mention of a sitting point, drinking water was also absent from outside the relief camp. Affectees have appealed to the government that Pak Army should be given the responsibility of distribution of relief goods.About five men got injured as security forces used baton charges.
