Summary A student was severely beaten by brothers and father of a girl on marriage dispute.
Qasim Khan S/O Gul Khattab, a resident of village Topla in Tajuwal union council of Abbottabad, told journalists that a girl Sajeela of his family and he loved each other but Sajeela’s father wanted to marry her off to another guy.On November 12, Qasim said, he was going back to Rawalpindi after completing college holydays when 12 armed people kidnapped him and took him to a house where he was brutally tortured and injured with blades.After interference of village Jirga, wounded Qasim was handed over to his parents. Qasim was shifted to hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
