SHC to liberate me, says Afaq Ahmad

Summary Muhajar Qaumi Movement chairman Afaq Ahmad said SHC would liberate him from cruel clutches.

He said that political activities would be enhanced in no-go areas when he is freed.Speaking to media representatives after the court proceedings, Mr Ahmed said “Zulfikar Mirza was raising his voice against terrorism in Karachi…which is commendable”.The Sindh High Court (SHC) ruled on Tuesday that Mohajjir Qaumi Movement – Haqiqi’s chairman Afaq Ahmed would not be arrested in the Khalid Hussain kidnapping case since no evidence was found against him.He further said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain should give up his British nationality and return to Pakistan.Separately, the court summoned the Prosecutor General and Advocate General Sindh on November 26 with reference to a petition filed by Mr Ahmed.Earlier, the former provincial minister Zulfikar Mirza met with Mr Ahmed in the SHC’s premises.
