Summary Lahore police tortured a youth and threw him out of police station when his condition deteriorated.
The 17-year-old Bisharat, resident of Sabza Zar, informed Dunya News that police, under pressure from an influential person of the area, picked him up two days ago when he was coming back from his work.He said that police took him to the Sabza Zar Police Station and hanged him upside down and also tortured him. He informed that police threw him out of police station when his condition deteriorated.However, police failed to give any clear answer when contacted in this regard. The SP Cantt Khurram Shoaib, while talking to Dunya News, said that police brought Bisharat to that police station after getting information that he had kidnapped someone. But he said that no case was registered against Bisharat.
