Summary A woman and her child were crushed to death by a dumper truck near Guru Mandar, Chorangi.
According to details, a speeding dumper hit a motorcycle near Guru Mandar. The three members of the same family got crushed and trapped under the truck. The people gathered on the spot and tried to rescue the three on self-help basis. Rescue staff meanwhile arrived.The woman and child had died when removed from under the truck while the man was in critical condition and was rushed to a hospital.The driver fled from the scene while his assistant was handed over the police by the people. Police have also impounded the truck.
