Summary An innocent youth was killed by the firing of police in Mardan on Thursday.
The protesters put the corpse on the road and set the police check post on fire and torched many police vehicles. As per details, Naeem, resident of Mayar was coming back to his house after attending a musical concert at night.The policemen ordered him to stop on a police check post. After his refusal to stop, police opened fire at him. As a result, Naeem became severely injured and taken to nearby hospital where he succumbed to injuries.After the incident, people gathered around the check post asking for registration of an FIR against the police personnel involved in brutal killing of innocent youth. Meanwhile, heavy contingents reached the site of occurrence and overcome crucial situation after many hours.
