Summary In Azad Kashmirs village Manasa, a lion attacked a 45-year-old woman and injured her.
The Aziz Jan went the jungle along with her cattle when a lion hiding in bushes attacked her. On raising noise by the people along her, the lion fled. The woman was critically injured.It was the first reported attack of a lion on human being as before there used to be incidents of lion’s attack on other animals. This fact has created panic in the area.
