Summary At least one woman was killed and six persons sustained injuries in an militant attack.
According to media reports, Afghan militants attacked the Kaman Gira area close to Pak-Afghan border as a result one woman killed and six persons sustained injuries. The security forces retaliated and killed one militant but remaining succeeded to escape from the scene.An eyewitness reported that number of the Afghan militant was around fifty and they were equipped with heavy weapons. He further reported that the Afghan militants assaulted at the houses of the innocent locals but the security forces cordoned off the area and started retaliation killing one militant and injuring several.Exchange of firing lasted for several hours. The injured have been shifted to Agency headquarter hospital.
