Summary PTCL pensioners and employees protested over nonpayment of pension and medical allowance in Multan.
A large number of retired and serving employees gathered in front of the PTCL office and held a protest demonstration while holding placards and banners. The protestors also shouted slogans against the PTCL management.Protestor said that the government had announced to increase pension by 15% while medical allowance was added by 50% in budget 2011 but this payment has not been paid till now.In this way, thousands of families are being crushed economically. The protestors also said if their demands were not met, they would encircle the Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
