Mandi: students go violent over fellows death

The deceased was a student of second year in Mandi Bahauddin Government College of Technology, Rasul.According to College Principal Muhammed Shafiq, the deceased Zeeshan, who was staying at Ali Hostel, was found mysteriously dead when his fellows woke him up this morning. On this, college students, flying in rage, ran amok in protest against the management and smashed hostel’s glasses.The angry students burned the office record as well. College management called in police that dispersed the protesting students by resorting to aerial firing. The body of the deceased was handed to the bereaved family.Students were of the view that Zeeshan died owing to the negligence of college staff, as he was not provided with medical aid on time.Students of a technology college in Mandi Bahauddin turned violent in protest over the death of their fellow who was found dead at college’s hostel as they came to wake him up.
