SC seeks explanation on granting bail to childs killer

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court led by Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of suo motu case. The court was told that influential culprits have brought an rapprochement with victim’s father while police made no effort to arrest any accused in this regard.It is worth mentioning that the parents of the victim were paid Rs only Rs 0.6 million as Deaat of the murder whereas, according to a governmental notification, the accused party is bound to pay at least Rs 3.2million to the heirs of the victim. The Chief Justice remarked that police has deform the case due to undue pressure of an influential MPA.
