Summary FIA has decided not to file an appeal in LHC against acquittal of Moonis Elahi.
Plaintiff or defendant may file an appeal in the Lahore High Court against the low court’s judgment within 30 days.However, according to the FIA sources, all the witness against Moonis Elahi deviated from their stance. The case became too weak to go for appeal against it and this is the soundest reason not to have an appeal against this case, sources added.An FIA spokesman also said that they would take final decision after having a consultation with their legal advisors.
