Summary Railways employees continued their protest demonstrations in different cities.
The employees also observed symbolic hanging over not restoring power supply to Multan Railways Station and Railways Colony.As per details, a large number of Railways employees gathered at the Multan Railways Station and chanted slogans against mismanagement of administration.They complained that their children were bound to sit in the sun because of cold-heartedness of Railways Department.They have been surviving without electric power since nine days but nobody paid heed to their issue, they said.The Railway employees have started a drive, seeking resignation of Railways minister.They threatened the authorities that if their demands were not met, they would observe hunger strike before the Supreme Court.On the other hand, employees also observed red and black day regarding ‘Rail Bachao Tehreek’ in Karachi.The labour leaders demanded that the Railways ministry should be liquidated and the department should be handed over to an autonomous board.
