Summary A five-month-old girls arm and leg were paralysed after drinking polio drops in Tandlianwala.
As per detail, an innocent girl Maryam daughter of Noor Jamal from Athwal Abadi in the suburb of Tandlianwala was nourished /imbibed polio drops after which her right leg and left arm were paralysed.Parents of the girl took her to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where the store keeper Salman Shakir diagnosed the girl in the absence of the duty doctor and asked them to leave for their home.The affected girl’s mother, talking to the Dunya News, stated that no doctor was available there in the hospital to deal them. When Dunya team reached the hospital, storekeeper managed to escape from the spot while no doctor was present there to express his stance.The area people revealed that all the doctors of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital were running their private hospitals.
