According to latest research, water accumulated in old tyres is a favourite breeding place of dengue mosquitoes.It is worth mentioning that puncture shop holders are putting their lives at risk by filling half-cut tyres with water.The shopkeepers are of the view that they have to purchase water tanks as an alternate which are too costly. However, they change water in half tyres on a daily basis.Some of them are conscious about the severity of the situation in the country and they have agreed to use alternate pots.
