Summary Muzaffargarh road was blocked after robbers took away Rs 13 million from two cattle brokers.
Eight armed robbers deprived Liaquat and Ismael of Rs 13 million at Nag Shah cattle market, and shot and injured them both. Rescue 1122 shifted them to Nishtar Hospital where doctors declared them out of danger.The brokers and dealers of cattle markets of Multan converged on Muzaffargarh road and staged a protest. They blocked the road by burning tyres. As a result of their prolonged protest, traffic queues were seen over 4 kilometres. The angry protesters also chanted slogans against Mumtazabad Police Station. They refused to end their protest and allow traffic flow till the arrest of the robbers.
