Summary Al least 8 people including CID personnel sustained severe injuries in hand grenade attack in Lyari.
According to details, unidentified motorcyclist hurled a hand grenade in a snooker club in the jurisdiction of Chakiwara Police Station, Bahar Colony Lyari. Resultantly, eight persons including CID personnel Amjad, General Secretary Peoples Students Federation (PSF) Shabbir Khan’s brother Jilani and a passer by Ghulam Mustafa suffered injuries. They were then removed to Civil Hospital.Fear and terror engulfed the area after the incident whereas local administration called Police, Rangers and Bomb Disposal Squad. According to SP Akram Abro said that actual target was Snooker Club.
