LHC dismisses petition against Shahbaz Sharif

President of Peoples Lawyers Forum Asad Abbasi filed a writ petition in Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, in which he pleaded the court that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif should be disqualify from his provincial assembly seat after which he would eventually has to leave the post of CM Punjab.The applicant pleaded in his writ that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said on July 2 that judges, politicians and generals are dishonest.On Wednesday petitioner Asad Abbasi was present in the court while Assistant Advocate General Punjab Sadaqat Ali Khan represented provincial government. The bench comprising Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh after hearing the arguments from the both sides dismissed the application by declaring it un-proceedable.
