Summary The Punjab CM has announced to end uniform restriction for one month in schools across Lahore.
According to reports, decision has been taken in the light of steps taken to control Dengue virus.Punjab government closed schools for ten days after the virus wreck havoc throughout the province. The government then decided to make changes in the uniform and asked the students to wear full sleeves and pants during school timings.In order to give relieve to the masses, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif allowed the students to wear regular clothes instead of uniform in the school. The order will remain effective for one month.
