Summary With 19 more patients shifted to hospitals, the number of dengue patients has risen to 300.
There are 55 patients admitted to Allied hospital and 22 patients are being treated in Civil hospital. According to Health Department, the number of dengue patients coming from other cities to Faisalabad’s public hospitals has risen to 120. Due to more and more patients coming from other cities, the situation of dengue treatment is worsening.In a bid to prevent students from dengue, GC University, Faisalabad will remain close for one week amid fear of spread of dengue virus. University spokesperson said that all staff will be available for new admissions whereas educational activities will be suspended. Different charitable personalities of Faisalabad have assured to provide platelets kits to district government to combat dengue virus.
