Summary Peshawar police arrested a 5-year-old boy after failing to arrest his father in a narcotics case.
The court refused to remand the minor and ordered his immediate release. Awais was arrested by police when his father, accused of involvement in a drugs case, ran away during a crackdown. Police found it suitable to handcuff and register a case against his minor son.The police presented the minor before Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Hussnain who referred the case to the Sessions Court, which refused to send the boy on remand. The court also ordered medical of the boy and freed him on two personal surety bonds of Rs 50,000 each.
