Summary The shortfall has decreased but loadshedding continues to increase citizens problems in Multan.
At least 6 to 7 hours loadshedding continues in urban areas of Multan despite decrease in shortfall while 7 to 8 hours loadshedding continues in the rural areas.According to MEPCO authorities, 2200 megawatt electricity is needed for the consumers while the shortfall has reached 350 megawatts.However, loadshedding continues because most of the electric feeders get tripped due to the weather conditions. The people are facing problems due loadshedding while the business activities are also affected in the city.On the other side, PMD forecast 34C temperature, while isolated rain is also expected during next 24 hours in Multan.
