Summary Lahore High Court adjourned hearing of the case filed against a contractor of a private company.

When Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry started hearing of the case, an explanatory report was put before the court according to which contractor Ahmad Saeed had been given a contract for the construction of a park opposite the Chief Minister House.He not only failed to complete the construction work within specific timeframe but also committed corruption for his vested interests violating the rules and regulations.At this, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered to register two cases and try him in Anti Corruption Court. Investigation regarding five cases is yet underway.The court ordered the petitioner to submit his further explanation and adjourned the court till September 21.
