According to Multan Electric Power Supply Company, the electricity demand for the consumers ids 2400 while the power shortfall has reached 560 megawatts that is causing power outage in the region.Meanwhile, 8 to 9 hours loadshedding continues in the urban areas while in rural areas it has reached from 10 to 12 hours. The industrial as well as domestic routine has been disrupted due to the prolonged loadshedding.
