Summary One dacoit was killed while two others managed to escape after an encounter with police in Shahdara.
According to details, three dacoits were fleeing after committing dacoity in Begamkot area of Shahdara. After getting the information, police chased the dacoits. The dacoits opened fire at the police party. One dacoit was killed when police returned the fire while two of his accomplices managed to escape.Deputy Inspector General Operations, Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, inspected the site of police encounter and announced cash award certificates for the police officials who took part in the encounter.
