Summary Interior Minister Rehman Malik claimed that peace had been established in Balochistan.
Malik said that some elements were hatching conspiracy to destabilise Pakistan and unity was the key to foiling this plot.Talking to the media, Malik said that a decline in the incidents of extremism had occurred in rural areas adding that terrorists were also targeting women and children, however, authorities were acting against them in full force.He further said that several banned outfits, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LJ), were active in the southwestern province. He said that he had presented credible evidence of entry of banned outfits in to the province.These organisations have link with Jandullah as well as other organisations. He vowed that an action would be taken against the terrorists in the province.
