Shutter down strike was also observed in Pangrio, Tando Bago, Nando, Khoski, Shadi Lorge, Khalifa Qasim and Malqani Sharif due to which activities of routine life were hampered. Traffic system was also badly affected in above-mentioned areas.One the other hand, angry supporters took out rallies and shouted slogans against Rehman Malik and the MQM. Protestors blocked roads by torching tyres in different chowks and staged a sit-in as well.
