Summary The National Highway Authority has increased toll taxes on highways and motorways.
According to sources the decision was taken in a meeting of the National Highway Authority’s executive board.With an increase of five rupees, new toll tax for cars will be Rs 25, vans Rs 35 and Rs 75 will be charged from buses.The toll for trolley trucks will be Rs 175 after the increase of Rs 20.The new toll taxes will be applicable from September 1.
