Summary The doctors at the Sheikh Zaid Hospital are protesting for increase in their salaries.
Only serious cases are being treated at the outdoor and indoor units of the hospital as well as emergency ward due the doctors’ strike.The doctors, whose protest enterd 5th day, are demanding the approval of a service structure and increase in salaries.Doctors said that the federal government had pledged that their salaries would be increased and a service structure would be formed for them but the government did not fulfil its promise.The doctors vowed to continue the protest till the acceptance of their demands.
