Summary Number of dengue patients in Punjab jumped to 84 while it was recorded at 67 in Lahore.
The number of dengue patients is increasing at an alarming rate and 8 new patients were brought to different hospital in Lahore in the last 24 hours. Out of these 8 patients, four were admitted in Services Hospital, one each in Jinnah Hospital, Mayo Hospital, Institute of Public Health and one patient was admitted in a private hospital.Health Secretary Punjab said that additional secretaries and deputy secretaries have been assigned the duties to combat the spread of the epidemic. Meanwhile, Punjab government said that all arrangement have been made to provide free treatment to dengue patients at the government hospitals.
