Summary Thousands of brick kiln workers have lost their jobs due to imposition of GST on the bricks.
Talking to Dunya News, President All Pakistan Brick Kiln Association, Shoaib Niazi said that the government has deprived many brick kiln workers of their work by imposing General Sales Tax on bricks.He said that the brick kilns across the country have been closed in protest against the GST due to which thousands of the kiln workers have lost their jobs but the government is not taking notice of the issue.
