A three-member bench of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of the caseAnti Narcotics Force had filed a petition in the court and prayed for attachment of the property owned by the accused Rana Nisar.The CJP remarked that investigation officers had not conducted an inquiry into the property purchased by the wealth earned out of narcotics, adding that when the courts tended to penalise the accused, police started considering attachment of property.The chief justice disposed off the hearing by rejecting the petition seeking grabbing of the accused’s property.
