Summary Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi will remain on high alert round the clock to cope with monsoon rain.
The rains have caused water level to rise in Nullah Lai. The rescue staff is on alert to provide an efficient and effective emergency response, medical treatment and safe evacuation to the victims of flood emergency in low-lying areas.In this regard, Flood Forecasting and Early Warning System had already been in place to ensure prompt and safe evacuation from vulnerable areas like Dhoke Naju, Zia-ul-Haq Colony, Dhoke Dalal, Bhoosa Gadown, Gawal Mandi, Chaman Zar Colony and Nadeem Colony.The officials of Rescue 1122 will be in close liaison with Pakistan Army, City District Govt, IESCO, Civil Defense, WASA, RDA, Health Department, and Police for a systematic rescue operation during flood.
