Summary Villagers in the outskirts of Toba Tek Singh cornered three bandits and tortured them to death.
The bandits, wearing police uniform, broke into the house of Imdad Ali, a UK-returned man, tied the family members and tortured them.Hearing the cries of the family, neighbours got alerted and gathered outside the house. Finding a crowd outside the house, the bandits started firing but the villagers were well prepared and returned fire on the armed robbers that wounded them.After capturing them, the villagers gave a severe beating to the bandits.The bandits were taken to Toba Tek Singh District Hospital but could not survive.
